The 2026 BET Awards delivered a spectacular display of fashion as celebrities turned the red carpet into a runway with bold, elegant and unforgettable looks.

Held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, the event showcased some of the entertainment industry’s biggest stars, with Kelly Rowland, Chloe Bailey and Teyana Taylor emerging among the night’s best-dressed celebrities.

Kelly Rowland dazzled in a metallic gold halter gown featuring a plunging draped neckline that highlighted timeless elegance. She completed the glamorous look with voluminous curls and crystal jewellery as she presented the Ultimate Icon Award to veteran music executive Sylvia Rhone.

Chloe Bailey embraced classic Hollywood glamour in a black-and-silver crystal-embellished strapless gown by designer Valdrin Sahiti. She paired the figure-hugging outfit with a platinum blonde bob hairstyle and dramatic vintage-inspired makeup, describing the look as her take on a “Black Marilyn Monroe.”

Teyana Taylor made one of the evening’s biggest fashion statements in a sculptural crimson couture gown by Stéphane Rolland. The dramatic ensemble featured a matching embellished headpiece and coordinated heels, perfectly complementing her status as one of the night’s biggest winners.

Taylor received four honours during the ceremony, including Best Actress, Video Director, Fashion Vanguard and the non-competitive Icon of the Year Award, making her the most decorated personality at the event.

Other celebrities also impressed with standout fashion moments.

Reality television personality Olandria Carthen turned heads in a custom sunshine-yellow halter gown by Theophilio, complete with a thigh-high slit and gold embellishment.

Actress Marsai Martin opted for a sophisticated two-tone Salih Balta creation featuring a structured leather corset, sheer ruched skirt and flowing lace train.

Award-winning rapper Doechii showcased vintage fashion in a hand-crocheted chocolate brown Dsquared2 gown from the brand’s Spring 2006 archive, allowing the intricate craftsmanship of the dress to take centre stage.
