A’Ibom APC Kick-Starts Membership Revalidation and Registration Exercise

The Akwa Ibom State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will this morning commence its membership revalidation and registration exercise across the 329 INEC-recognized political wards in the state.

State Chairman of the party, Obong Stephen Ntukekpo, disclosed this yesterday at the party secretariat while officially releasing materials for the exercise to ward chairmen.

Obong Ntukekpo urged the ward chairmen to conduct the exercise strictly at the designated ward centers, emphasizing that adequate logistical provisions have been made to ensure a smooth process. He further cautioned against conducting the exercise in private residences of any party member, insisting on full compliance with the directive to use only approved ward centers.

He added that the Leader of the Party in the state, His Excellency Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, and the National Leader of the Party, His Excellency Senator Godswill Akpabio, will both visit their respective wards to partake in the exercise. He noted that all other party faithful are expected to follow suit.

The party helmsman explained that the exercise is important for both existing and new members, as it will be used to update the party’s membership database at the national level.

A large turnout is expected during the exercise across the state as the APC continues to enjoy massive acceptance at the grassroots level, particularly in recent times.
