The Akwa Ibom State Police Command has apprehended five suspects linked to a recent home invasion, armed robbery, and rape at a guest house in Abak.

The arrests followed a discreet investigation prompted by a formal complaint received on June 26, 2025, detailing the attack where armed individuals robbed a man and raped his female guest.
