Tower of Ivory Schools Shine in WAEC amid poor performance nationwide

Tower of Ivory Schools, a renowned centre of academic excellence, has again distinguished itself with stellar performances in the just-concluded West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).

Chairman, Board of Trustees of the School, DIG Udom Ekpoudom (Rtd), recently lauded the institution’s unwavering commitment to promoting excellence; a quality he said propelled their students to record outstanding results.

He noted that despite the generally poor performance reported nationwide, Tower of Ivory Schools, with campuses in Abak, Airport Road, and Port Harcourt, produced candidates who passed in flying colours, consolidating and affirming the school’s reputation as an academic pacesetter.

“At Tower of Ivory Schools, we do not just prepare students for examinations; we prepare them for life. Our teachers are dedicated, our learning environment is stimulating, and our students are groomed to aim for the best in everything they do,” Ekpoudom said.

He further stressed that the excellent results recorded are clear proof that when discipline, hard work, and vision meet, excellence becomes inevitable.

“The results show the importance of strong leadership, teacher dedication, and adequate infrastructure in shaping student outcomes. Our core principle is excellence, and at Tower of Ivory Schools, we will continue to set a benchmark for other institutions for the growth of our children and a better society,” he added.

Speaking further, Ekpoudom reaffirmed that the Board of Governors will sustain investments in modern learning facilities, intensive teacher training, and moral guidance to maintain the school’s enviable standards.

Meanwhile, parents and education stakeholders have commended the feat, describing the school’s achievement as a beacon of hope for Nigeria’s education sector, especially amid declining performance across the country.
