A US-Based Clergy with The Jesus Christ Solution Center The E-Congregation Assembly Bible Classes, Texas, Dr. Moshood Fayemiwo has announced plans for a two day evangelical outreach.
He made the announcement during a courtesy visit to the Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Akwa Ibom State Council, Comrade Nsibiet John on Wednesday 20th August, where he rallied for partnership with the Union.
Dr. Fayemiwo stated that the event is scheduled for Friday, 22nd and Saturday, 23rd August, 2025 at the NUJ Secretariat, for interested journalists and the people of Akwa Ibom State.
Speaking further, he noted that the programme, themed “Are You Born Again”, is a Holy Spirit-inspired event that would provide a divine opportunity for journalists and the people of Akwa Ibom to encounter God’s power and blessings, while assuring the Union of his unwavering support through prayers and other interventions to enhance the growth and well-being of its members.
“God called me to take the Good News of salvation, procured on the Cross of Calvary by the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ, to the ends of the earth and that we have come to the city of Akwa Ibom to do,” he added.
In his response, Comrade Nsibiet John expressed appreciation to Dr. Fayemiwo for finding the Union worthy of such partnership, describing it as a sign of greater things ahead for the NUJ.
“We believe in the place of prayers, because they strengthen us and provide direction. This administration inherited a legacy of service and is committed to doing more, hence, your presence and partnership show that the Union is on the right path,” he said.
The NUJ Chairman also reeled out some of the Union’s activities, including Congress, Solemn Assembly, NUJ Press Freedom Week, cultural displays, symposium amongst others stressing that collaboration with faith-based initiatives would add value to the Council.
Also speaking, the Publisher, Evangelist Newspaper, Mr. Solomon Ekpo, commended the NUJ Chairman for embracing the partnership, noting that it would deepen perspectives and open doors for divine providence in the practice of journalism with the fear of God.
He appealed to the Chairman to encourage members to actively participate in the two-day event, assuring them of divine impartation and abundant blessings.
