The Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Akwa Ibom State Council, Nsibiet John , has congratulated the newly elected Executive Committee of the Advertising Practitioners Association, Uyo Chapter following the successful conduct of the Association’s election.
In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen, the NUJ Chairman particularly congratulated Uwem Archibong on his emergence as Chairman of the Association, alongside Dr Idongesit Ashameri and other executive members elected to pilot the affairs of APAUCH for the next two years.
Comrade John described the election as a reflection of the confidence members of the Association have in the capacity of the new leadership to advance professionalism, unity, and innovation within the advertising industry.
He noted that advertising practitioners play a critical role in strategic communication, public enlightenment, and media development, stressing the need for stronger collaboration between APAUCH and the media.
The NUJ Chairman urged the new executive committee to remain focused on promoting ethical standards, professional excellence, inclusiveness, and the welfare of members.
He also expressed optimism that the new leadership under Mr. Archibong would reposition the Association for greater relevance and impact in the communication and advertising sector.
Comrade Nsibiet John wished the newly inaugurated executives a successful and impactful tenure.
